Yay, Uncle Jonathan!

Uncle Jonathan finally came to visit from Ukraine for the first time in almost nine months!  Jayden loved playing with her Uncle Jonathan and Jordyn loved giving him her beautiful smiles.  We cannot wait until he moves back to the USA.  We love him and miss him when he is gone!

Party with the Cousins!

Miss Jayden had so much fun playing with her cousins Hunter and Ella today.  The four little girl cousins are going to be so much fun to watch grow up and play together.  The girls are going to run the Simile family!!

Daddy's New Car

Daddy bought a new car today and Jayden was so excited.  She ran out to meet him as soon as he pulled in the driveway.  Daddy is looking good in his new ride:)

Jordyn's Play Mat!

Jordyn loved her sister's play mat today....Jayden also loved to lay on it with her. So funny to see Jayden share her old toys with her sister:)

Merry Christmas to All!

Santa sure was good to the Simile family this year.  Jayden got so many new toys that we may have to build a new house...or at least another playroom:)  She loved everything and wanted to play with each thing for hours before opening the next present.  But, she finally got the hang of it and was saying, "more presents...more toys" before the end of the night:)  It is so amazing to watch Christmas through your children's eyes!

The Elf on the Shelf Visits!

The Elf on the Shelf finally came to visit the Simile household.  Jayden was really excited about it, although we aren't sure she totally understands this year.  She decided to name him "Paul" for her Uncle Paul:) 

Paul has been a silly Elf this year - he has been in the cookie jar, swinging from the tent, and having a tea party with Minnie Mouse.  Wonder what else Paul may get into before Christmas???

Baking Cookies with Grammie...

Jayden and Grammie baked sugar cookies today for Christmas.  Jayden did such a good job in cutting out the shapes...presents. snowflakes, candy canes.  But, she ate more cookie dough than baked cookies:)  Just like her Mommy!

Christmas Pictures!

Mommy and Grammie took the girls to get their Christmas pictures made today.  Its REALLY hard getting them both to smile at the same time, but we still got some good ones. 

Santa Clause is coming to Town!

We went to go visit Santa today to tell him what good girls we have been this year:)  Jayden was so excited to see him....was laughing and playing with him....until she got on his lap....

Jordyn is One Month Old!

Time sure does fly when you are having fun. Believe it or not, Miss Jordyn is already one month old.  It has been such a great month with such a sweet baby and her adorable sister!

Jayden helped Daddy feed Jordyn her first bottle today.  It was so adorable!

Sister Love

Jayden and Jordyn love each other so much!  Jayden gets so excited to see her every morning - she always says, "sissy, eyes open?"  It is adorable to see them grow up together.  What cuties!

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

We decorated our house this weekend for Christmas!  It looks beautiful.  A special thanks to CiCi, Maggie, Grammie and MiMi for all of their help with the various decorations:)

Mommy's Family Visits

Our family filled fun time continued this week with a visit from Aunt Jenna, Alexander, Grandpa and CiCi.  Jayden had so much fun playing with Alexander, while Mommy got spoiled as Aunt Jenna held on to Jordyn all weekend:)  We were so sad to see them go - can't wait to see them again soon!

Thanksgiving with all the Similes!

The Simile family traveled to Hiawassee, GA for the Simile Family Reunion during Thanksgiving week.  We had so much fun hanging out with 50+ family members for the week in a beautiful lake cabin.  Everyone loved playing with Jayden and holding Jordyn - they just didn't want to give her back:)

Jordyn Meets the Hall Family!

Jordyn got to meet her Godfather (Uncle Greg), Aunt Mary, Emily and Will today.  It will be the first of many get togethers:)

Jordyn Meets her Cousins!

Jordyn got to meet her cousins Tyler and Hunter.  Tyler did such a good job holding her and Hunter was so gentle playing with her.  They are all going to be such good friends!

Jordyn Goes Home!

Today Jordyn came home to her new house with her Mommy, Daddy, and big sister Jayden.  Such a fun house full of lots of love for the two little princesses!

Jayden got to meet her new sister Jordyn today for the first time ever.  She was a little shy at first, but quickly warmed up.  She was so excited to visit Mommy and Daddy in the hospital every day and had the nurses laughing at her silliness:)  It was such a pleasure to watch the two sisters meet for the first time - it brought a tear to Mommy's eyes.
